Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality algorithms and ML software for TomTom's HD maps for ADAS.
- Lead design, implementation, and integration of algorithms, ML systems, and data pipelines.
- Drive measurable improvements in output quality (recall, precision, latency, cost) against customer-facing targets.
- Lead well-scoped projects and own components within the team's processing pipelines.
- Tackle complex technical problems at scale: noisy upstream signals, geospatial geometry, ground truth quality, and large-scale evaluation pipelines.
- Build iteratively using agile methodologies and rigorous experimentation; document outcomes.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns, provide insightful code reviews, and contribute to hiring.
